Craig Annis

I started playing golf in July 23 and it got me straight away. I went for my first generic fitting in Mar 24 as a high handicapper, fitted into "game improvement irons", hitting 7i over 200yds. I went through a winter coaching programme from Sep 24-Mar 25 where my coach told me within 1 session that my irons weren't right for me. Around this time I watched SAS golfs you tube video with Orka. The fitting process was nothing like what I had experienced previously so I got in touch with Alex and got booked in for early 2025. Alex was great and accommodating from initial contact and hasn’t been anything different since. The fit I had was great, tested numerous shaft combos to find the one that felt right and gave me the numbers I was looking for. Alex doesn't push anything on you, it's all down to what you like and what the data tells you. I was a 19.8 hcp when I received my Orka irons within a couple of weeks of the fit. I’ve been working at my game and playing a lot over the summer with the hcp coming down to 13.9.

As I improved, I started to notice a bit of a gap in my distances so booked back in with Alex for the free gapping session. Alex not only adjusted my lofts to get the perfect gapping, he also spotted a set up tweak which totally changed my strike with the longer irons that I had been really struggling with. The result was incredible, feel so much more confident in the already awesome clubs and really excited to get back on the course and get this hcp down even more.

I couldn’t ask for anymore from Alex or Orka. The clubs look and feel amazing, the service is next level and nothing is forced on you.

I get so many comments on the course about the irons too and I’m always more than happy to talk about them and point them Orka’s way. 100% recommend anyone to go Orka.

As I’ve had such a great experience so far, I won’t hesitate to purchase more products in the future. Alex doesn’t try and upsell you, he lets his products do the talking in the fitting and makes you feel extremely comfortable. I left the fitting feeling educated knowing that what I was getting was right for me. I’ve heard too many stories of people being pushed down an avenue with clubs that will never work for them.

Clubs: CTI 5-PW + 52*& 56* wedges

Purchased: 2024

Name: Owen

HCP: was 32 now 25

I purchased a set of CTIs (5-PW) from Orka when they had their big sale last year. It’s a brand I’d been hoping to game for a while and the deal was too good an opportunity to pass up.

From minute one of ordering the product to the fitting, to receiving the clubs the service has been exceptional. The fact you can drop them an email or call them and it’s the owner of the company you’re talking to is fantastic, you couldn’t do that with Mr. Titleist or Mr Callaway.

I’ve recommended Orka to everyone who asked me about them and I’m certainly sticking with the brand going forward.

I’m Keith Turnbull, a lifetime UK resident been playing golf for 55 years now the majority in Scotland until we retired to Yorkshire, over 30 as a Ping user until September 2023! My irons then were i210’s and Glide wedges! My last Scottish club was Haddington GC in East Lothian with a country membership at Cullen GC in Moray! I had been to fittings for PXG but was not impressed and Ping and was probably going i230 or i230/Blueprint combo but my heart wasn’t in it!

We were up in Cullen and we had a visit to Myrus Golf Centre in Macduff and I noticed they were now an Orka stockist! After a hum & haw and a bit of pushing from the family, I booked and got a comprehensive fitting from Andrew there for Orka clubs! I ended up with the Orka RS10 CB 5-PW, 2 deg strong for the spin window and OD wedges in 50, 54 & 58 degree for the gapping! The shafts were changed from Stiff to regular KBS and Lamkin cord grips! My Ping clubs were taken as trade in BUT I was allowed to play them for the rest of our holiday!

Getting home the clubs turned up about 10 days after we got back! They were phenomenal! Some of the most attractive, softest cubs I have ever owned! But don’t mistake that for lack of performance, there’s a long par 3 on my home course that has ALWAYS been a 4 hybrid for me, first time out, I airmailed the green by 10 yards with the 5 iron and with a perfect flight! The wedges are spinny, accurate and can be easily manipulated for different shots! I was truthfully worried about changing but I am so glad I did! I was off 14 but despite injury/illness this year a 10 is easily maintained and I would like to try to get back to scratch from my teens/20’s before I’m past it but would settle for 5 or 6! I ,truthfully, haven’t enjoyed clubs this much since the forged blades (MacGregor, Jack Nicklaus fan!) that I played in the mid to late 1970’s and into the 80’s! I TRULY wish I had made the jump years ago but, as they say, “hindsight is perfect!” When I have to change, I will be going straight to Orka!!

Kind Regards, Keith Turnbull

To be honest the first I'd heard of ORKA was on the SAS golf channel on YouTube, the host Simon was having a fitting with Alex, not only was I impressed with what I was seeing and hearing, Simon alerted his audience to a fantastic deal that ORKA were offering, a set of forged clubs that usually sell for the best part of a grand for considerably less, deal of the decade, so got my name down, sold my two year old Cobra's £280, Ok there was a slight wait and Alex kept me informed about what was happening with the forging process, this was back in October got the clubs in January, well worth the wait, Alex really looked after me when I picked them up amazing guy, I couldn't tell you my handicap as this year I have decided to play with more smiles so no scoring for a year, my game has come on leaps and bounds more fairways hit and definitely more greens, I love these clubs , so lucky to live just over an hour away in south Essex as I will definitely take up the lifetime loft and lie adjustments, something I haven't heard from anyone else, buy some ORKA you will not be disappointed, thanks again

My name is Ian wright had a fitting in December last year with Alex who I must say made me feel welcomed and relaxed. Anyway I was fitted for the RS1X irons having never been fitted before I was excited my handicap at the time was 17ish. Had a fantastic time at the fitting was taught a lot not only about my old clubs that were no good for me but the new ones which have done me proud what a great set I have I am now 9.7 handicap and loving my golf. I came down from from Rotherham 2.5hrs journey and best trip I've made proud to be part of the family.

Thanks Alex and the team

Handicap pre Orka 13 I am not playing off 6

I had a fantastic experience being fitted by Alex, it was fun & I learned a lot (and I am a bit of a golf nerd!), I love the aspect of being fitted by the person that was going to build my clubs, I knew the clubs would be spot on from my fitting and knowing I was supporting a local SME was a benefit too.

Many of my friends and new people I play golf with have asked what are those irons? I explain what a fantastic experience I had but in addition how great the sticks are, they are consistent and knowing they are fitted & built to my spec gives me confidence I know the clubs in my hands are perfect for me.

If you’re curious about the fitting or product I would say go for it you will learn a lot if nothing else.

Many thanks & well done on your recent ‘win!’

I came across Orka Golf following their recent success on MyGolfSpy Most Wanted 2025 testing. I noticed they had finished well in the Players Iron category 3rd place I think it was, which spiked my interest. A couple weeks later I'd seen they won the Overall Players Distance Iron, which was pretty cool considering the competition they went up against.

I reached out to the team at Orka through the website and within 24 hours I had a reply. We scheduled a call to talk through what I was looking for and wanted to achieve with a new set of irons. I have to say, the guy I spoke to Alex was incredible, his knowledge and recommendations made me feel super relaxed and not under any pressure to buy.

We then booked a second call for a virtual fitting the following week, this gave me time to head down to my local golf sim and get the data Alex had asked for with my existing irons. I never knew how important this stuff was to getting the correct irons.

We then went through the data, my spin was super low, my ball flight, in his own words "was a danger to vertically challenged people, should they happen to be walking across a fairway in front of me". My ball speed was also a tad low for someone of my size.

He then talked about weight of shafts, and it's importance to ball speed and kick point, I had no idea what a kick point was, I just always picked up a stiff shaft and went golfing.

Alex then recommended a shaft that would see my ball flight height increase as well as help me crank up my speed.

On the back of this, he suggested I do the "try before you buy" option with this shaft, I went for the RS1X head as it's the one that won Overall Winner with MyGolfSpy, it even beat the TaylorMade P790 I think, which is the iron I was originally considering. I took delivery of the iron within 4 days of our virtual fitting. I hit the range more excited than a chubby kid at a Dunkin Drive thru.

After getting used to the iron, which took me 15 shots or so, I was smoking this thing. Straighter, higher and longer. The trackman had me in the spin window Alex wanted, I was 11yds longer carry on average. Just insane. I ordered the set that evening.

It's so cool to see this smaller brands taking on the bigger ones and out performing, the RS1X is super slick looking, easy to hit and goes like stink. I would recommend all golfers check these out. The added bonus, is they're better priced too. The service I have received from communication, the advice and to the clubs has been better than I thought.

Thanks Orka, keep it up.

Since joining the brand family several years ago it feels like I’ve been on the journey with Orka. Getting to know the industry, the brand, and even the man behind it all. I’m now on my second set of Orka irons and honestly I wouldn’t choose anyone else in future.

To have a brand that actually cares that you have the best equipment. By taking the time and effort to build every set to the highest levels of tolerance. Not just a thereabouts attitude, margin squeezing, get the clubs out the door attitude.

Next is the main man himself. A genuinely decent bloke. Who educates rather than sells, and lets the clubs do the talking.
What does every golfer want. (CONSISTENCY) what do most golfers buy in the end… The club that has the lowest loft and goes the longest on test. Add to that poor levels of tolerance they end up further away from the one thing they truly wanted.

Not with Orka. Orka can build a set that will compete on distance without sacrificing accuracy. Then you get a set truly suited to the individual not built to just shift units.
To sum it up since discovering them I have believed Orka is one of the best brands to play as an amateur. Now with proof from independent industry leading testers that it is.
